Custom Data Mapping

You can report the data fields for newly added measures that are not currently available in the system. You can enter variable data for reporting purposes at runtime. Your system is delivered with a defined set of measures and code mappings using which you can immediately report for new measures that are not supported by the system. In addition, you can add measure and code mappings as needed to meet the new reporting requirements. On the Coded Results Mapping template, in the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel, you can do the following: Configure custom mapping for fields with the data values that need to be captured for reporting the new measures. Enable the data to be added on a template after the upgrade. When configured, providers can enter custom data for reporting the measures in the Custom Data Mappings panel on the Exceptions/Measures template. Coded Results Mapping for the Improved Claim-Based Measures Reporting

In the Coded Results Mapping template, you can map specific template field values to specific coded values to ensure accurate quality measure reporting. This function provides a flexible and scalable solution that delivers real-time codification for NextGen® HQM supported measures, as well as for claims- and registry-based reporting. Coded Results Mapping has the following benefits. Remove a Coded Results Mapping Record

You can remove a coded results mapping record any time. Removing a mapping does not delete the mapping, but prevents the mapping records from being included in NextGen® HQM reporting. Removed records can be restored any time On the Coded Results Mapping template, filter the grid to view the record that you want to remove. Select the record that you want to remove. Access the Coded Results Mapping Template

You can access the Coded Results Mapping template by performing the following steps. From the File menu, select System\Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select the Practice tab.The list of practice-level templates appears. Note: If you do not see Coded Results Mapping in the list, then from the Show section, select All. Do one of the following: Double-click Coded Results Mapping. Select Coded Results Mapping, and select OK. The Coded Results Mapping template opens. Add Coded Results Mapping Records

You can add mapping records on the Coded Results Mapping template. On the Coded Results Mapping template, select the Source Table field. Note: Many templates contain data fields shared from an originating source template. The source table name and data field names must be specified to accurately map to code values. The Source Table Field pop-up window opens. Coded Result Mapping - Source Field pop up Select the source field, select OK.The Source Table field is populated with the selected table and a pop-up window appears with a list of source fields for the selected table. Select the source field and select OK. Do one of the following: To map a specific value with a specific code, type the value in the Field Value field. To map a value with a specific code, select the Map any Value check box. To map a range of values with a specific code, manually enter numbers or decimals to set the range. Coded Results Mapping Details

The fields on the this template enable you to specify the source table, source field, range of values, and specific codes to map the values with. The following table describes the fields on the Coded Results Mapping template. Fields Description Source Table Table associated with a template that has the mapped field values. When you click Source Table, a list appears with templates that have a source field. If the source table is shared, it retrieves the name from the source template. Source Field Name of the source field for the data value being mapped. This field provides options that correspond to the source table you entered. Field Value One of the possible values that can be stored in Source Field. Map any Value Indicates that a value in Field Value maps to specific Code Value. Min and Max Maps a range of values with a specific code. You can only enter numbers or decimals for minimum and maximum values for the range.
