Clear the Transitioning Into Care Check Box

You can manually clear the Transitioning into care check box.

To clear the Transitioning into care check box on the Transitioning Into Care template for an encounter, the following conditions must be met:
  • The Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid on the Transitioning Into Care template does not contain any Summary of Care document details.
  • The Summary of Care documents received or queried check box is not selected.

To manually clear the Transitioning into care check box, remove all the entries from the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. On the Intake or SOAP template, select General .
  3. Select the Transitioning Into Care link.
    The Transitioning Into Care template opens.
  4. In the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid, select all the rows, and then select Remove.
  5. Clear the Transitioning into care check box.
  6. To ensure that unlinked summary of care documents do not automatically match with the transitioning into care request, select Refresh.

    If only the auto-match entries are removed from the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid; then when you re-open the Transitioning Into Care template, NextGen® Enterprise EHR does not automatically select the Transitioning into care check box.
