Add the Summary of Care Details in the Associated Requests and /or Summary of Care Documents Received Grid

Using the Summary of Care Received option, you can add the Summary of Care document details automatically and manually in the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid.

NextGen® Enterprise EHR automatically fills the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid with data from the Summary of Care document when the document is associated with the current encounter. This current encounter details are stored during the request functionality and/or the clinical reconciliation process.

Each Summary of Care document details display as a separate row in the grid. A single Summary of Care document can satisfy multiple transitioning into care encounters. If the patient is enrolled in Enterprise Chart, you can see Summary of Care documents from different practices.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. On the Intake or SOAP template, expand General.
  3. Select the Transitioning Into Care link.
    The Transitioning Into Care template opens.
  4. To manually add the Summary of Care document details to the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid, do the following:
    1. Select the Summary of Care document details row.
    2. Select the Add Selected button.
