Manage Pediatric Screening

You can document and manage the screening tests and results for a patient using the screening buttons in the Screening panel on the Pediatric SOAP template. Open the Pediatric SOAP template. To document the screening instrument, click the appropriate button from the Screening panel. To document the vision acuity details and the color vision test results, click Vision and enter the details on the Vision Screening - PE template. To document the patient's audiometry test details, click Hearing and enter the details on the Tone audiometry - PE template. To document the details of the tuberculosis risk assessment and skin test, click PPD and enter the details on the Tuberculin Skin Test template. To document the patient's depression screening details, click PHQ and enter the details on the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-2) template. Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers Revised with Follow-Up Screening

The Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers Revised with Follow-Up (M-CHAT R-F) autism screening tool helps to identify children, between 16 to 30 months of age, who need to receive a more thorough assessment for possible early signs of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). On the Child Dev. Rec template, you can use Other screenings section to document M-CHAT R-F screening. The Add New link in the Other screenings section opens the Other Developmental Screening Tools template. Other Developmental Screening Tools On the Other Developmental Screening Tools template, you can select MCHAT-RF in the Name of screening tool field to document M-CHAT R-F screening. Perform Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers

You can document Autism screening in toddlers. You can document pediatrics screening for Autism in the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT) screening tool. Open the Pediatric SOAP template. In the Screening panel, click Child Development History. The Child Dev. Rec template opens. Click the Details link associated with the MCHAT (c) label. The Peds Mchat template opens. Enter the details and select the appropriate option for each screening question. Click OK. The documented M-CHAT data appear in the Screening Tool Results grid. The color of the Details link changes to indicate the information is documented and the Last done field displays the date of the survey. Screening Tool Results If you select the Detailed document option on the Peds Mchat template, the Print button appears under the M-CHAT label. Perform Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers Revised Screening

You can document the pediatric revised screening for autism and provide scores to assess the risk of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the M-CHAT-R screening tool. . You can submit the code to billing. The screening tool includes the billing-related fields to submit the code to Superbill. Open the Pediatric SOAP template. In the Screening panel, click Child Development History. The Child Dev. Rec template opens. Click the Details link associated with the MCHAT-R (c) label. The Peds Mchat - R template opens. Enter the details and select the appropriate option for each screening question. To submit the documented autism screening for billing, select the Submit developmental screening to Superbill check box, and enter procedure and assessment details. Click OK. Document SWYC Developmental Milestones

You can document the Survey of Wellbeing of Children (SWYC)™ developmental milestones for children less than 5 years of age on the SWYC Milestone Full View template. The SWYC developmental milestones are not configurable. You can also add an assessment and submit a procedure code to the Superbill on the SWYC Milestone Full View template, if required. Before you begin To access the SWYC Milestones templates, you need to select the Use SWYC development screening check box on the Practice Configuration template. Document Pediatric Symptom Checklist

You can identify cognitive, emotional, and behavioral problems in children aged four and above. Open the Pediatric SOAP template. In the Screening panel, click the Child Development History button. The Child Dev. Rec template opens. Click the Detail link in the PSC section. The Pediatrics Symptom Checklist (PSC) template opens. Enter the details and select the appropriate option for each screening question. To generate score, click Calculate. Pediatrics Symptom Checklist (PSC) Click Save & Close. The PSC score appears in the Screening Tool Results grid. The color of the Details link changes to indicate the information is documented and the Last done field displays the date of the survey.
