Perform Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers Revised Screening

You can document the pediatric revised screening for autism and provide scores to assess the risk of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the M-CHAT-R screening tool. .

1. Open the Pediatric SOAP template.
2. In the Screening panel, click Child Development History.
   The Child Dev. Rec template opens.
3. Click the Details link associated with the MCHAT-R (c) label.
   The Peds Mchat - R template opens.
4. Enter the details and select the appropriate option for each screening question.
5. To submit the documented autism screening for billing, select the Submit developmental screening to Superbill check box, and enter procedure and assessment details.
6. Click OK.
   The documented data appear in the Screening Tool Results grid. The charges are submitted to the Superbill, and the Last done field displays the date of the survey.

   

7. If you select the Detailed document option on the Peds Mchat - R template, the Print button appears under the MCHAT-R (c) label.
8. To view the M-CHAT-R data, select the row in the Screening Tool Results grid, and then click the View Only button.
   The Display Text Only template opens with M-CHAT-R data.
