panel,
Treating Assessment
section, click
Add
.
The
PT Treating Assessment
template opens.
Do one of the following:
Click the
Add Common Assessment
link, click an appropriate assessment link, select a description from the resulting list, and then click
OK
.
Click the
Assessment
field, search for and highlight a diagnosis, and then click
Select
.
Click
Add To Grid
.
Click
Save & Close

Edit a Treating Assessment
On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessments section, select the assessment in the grid to be updated. Click Edit to launch the PT Treating Assessment template. Select the item to be updated in the Treating assessment grid. Make any updates or changes as needed. Click Update and then click Save & Close. Parent topic: Treating Assessments

Remove a Treating Assessment
On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessments section, highlight the assessment to be deleted in the grid. Click Remove. Parent topic: Treating Assessments

Treating Assessments
The grid in the Treating Assessment section enables you to add assessments for therapy treatments. The treating assessments may be the same as the encounter or ordering diagnoses, or they may be more general. For example, the treating diagnosis may be “pain hip/pelvic” with one diagnosis code, while the encounter diagnosis or ordering assessment may be “sprain hip/thigh” with a different diagnosis code. The Treating Assessment section appears on multiple templates throughout the Physical Therapy workflow and maintains the same functionality. Add an Encounter Diagnosis
On the Subjective template, go to the General panel and click Add under the Encounter Diagnoses section. Click the Add common assessment link to view the common assessments for Physical Therapy, and do one of the following actions: If the required assessment is available on the Common Assessment window, click the assessment link, select an appropriate description from the resulting list, click OK, and then click Save & Close. If the required assessment is not available on the Common Assessment window, click the Diagnosis Code Lookup link, search for and select a diagnosis, and then click Select. Select the Show Historical assessments check box to display the patient's historical assessments in the grid. Parent topic: Encounter Diagnosis

Edit an Encounter Assessment
On the Subjective template, General panel, Encounter Diagnosis section, highlight an assessment within the grid. Click Edit to open the Assessments template. Make any necessary changes and then click Add/Update. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Encounter Diagnosis

Search for a Diagnosis Code on the Common Assessments Template
If you do not see the diagnosis you need on the Common Assessments template, you can search for it. Select the Search field, and then enter the code or a word or words that describe the condition. Select Search. A search window opens with all codes related to your entry. Inf Common Assessment template Select the diagnosis code, and then select OK to add it to the Treating grid on the Common Assessments template. Select Save & Close.
