Add a Treating Assessment

On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessment section, click Add. The PT Treating Assessment template opens. PT Treating Assessment Do one of the following: Click the Add Common Assessment link, click an appropriate assessment link, select a description from the resulting list, and then click OK. Click the Assessment field, search for and highlight a diagnosis, and then click Select. Click Add To Grid. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Treating Assessments

Remove a Treating Assessment

Treating Assessments

The grid in the Treating Assessment section enables you to add assessments for therapy treatments. The treating assessments may be the same as the encounter or ordering diagnoses, or they may be more general. For example, the treating diagnosis may be “pain hip/pelvic” with one diagnosis code, while the encounter diagnosis or ordering assessment may be “sprain hip/thigh” with a different diagnosis code. The Treating Assessment section appears on multiple templates throughout the Physical Therapy workflow and maintains the same functionality. Edit an Encounter Assessment

On the Subjective template, General panel, Encounter Diagnosis section, highlight an assessment within the grid. Click Edit to open the Assessments template. Make any necessary changes and then click Add/Update. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Encounter Diagnosis

Update an Assessment on the SOAP Template

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the SOAP template, in the Assessment / Plan panel, select an assessment you want to update in the grid. Select Add/Update. Open the Assessments Tab

There are several options for accessing the Add or Update Assessments template: On the SOAP template, in the Assessment / Plan panel, select Add/Update. On the Intake or SOAP templates: Select the My Plan link to open the template set. My Plan Select the Assessments tab.
