Edit an Encounter Assessment

On the Subjective template, General panel, Encounter Diagnosis section, highlight an assessment within the grid. Click Edit to open the Assessments template. Make any necessary changes and then click Add/Update. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Encounter Diagnosis

Remove an Encounter Assessment

Encounter Diagnosis

For every patient encounter, use the Encounter Diagnoses section to define all the assessments to be included in orders and billing and to view billing assessments for the current encounter, including ICD codes. The Encounter Diagnoses section appears on multiple templates throughout the Physical Therapy workflow and maintains the same functionality. Add a Treating Assessment

On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessment section, click Add. The PT Treating Assessment template opens. PT Treating Assessment Do one of the following: Click the Add Common Assessment link, click an appropriate assessment link, select a description from the resulting list, and then click OK. Click the Assessment field, search for and highlight a diagnosis, and then click Select. Click Add To Grid. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Treating Assessments

Add the Diagnosis for Therapy Evaluation

Navigate to the Evaluation panel on the PT Finalize template. To associate the diagnosis with Therapy Evaluation: Highlight an assessment displayed in the Encounter Diagnoses grid. Click the Dx code field. The selected assessment’s Dx code appears in the field. To clear out all the fields in the Evaluation section, click Clear. If applicable, re-enter evaluation details by first selecting the Therapy Evaluation visit type. Parent topic: Evaluation Panel

Search for a Diagnosis Code on the Common Assessments Template

If you do not see the diagnosis you need on the Common Assessments template, you can search for it. Select the Search field, and then enter the code or a word or words that describe the condition. Select Search. A search window opens with all codes related to your entry. Inf Common Assessment template Select the diagnosis code, and then select OK to add it to the Treating grid on the Common Assessments template. Select Save & Close. The diagnosis descriptions and codes that you have selected enter the Treating Dx grid on the Single Visit template. Parent topic: Ordering Dx and Treating Dx
