Filter the Condition and Management Configuration
In the Condition and Management Configuration panel, you can filter the condition or management configuration in the grid using the Type filter field. Open the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template and then expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. In the Filter section, select the Type field above the grid. Configure Conditions and Management Items Without SNOMED
Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. On the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template, expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. For Type of configuration, select any of the following options: PMH Medical (Past Medical History) - The configured conditions available for selection in the Past Medical History panel. PMH Management - The configure management items to be available for selection in the Management Items panel. Surgical - To configure surgical items to be available for selection in the Past Surgical History panel. Note: If you select the Surgical option, the system automatically selects the PMH Management option. Family History - To configure conditions to be available for selection in the Family History panel. Negative - To configure negative conditions to be available for selection in the Family History panel. Note: If you select the Negative option, the system

Configure SNOMED Codes for a Condition or Management
Select File and then select System/Practice. In Select Template, select All and then select Configure Medical, Surgical, and Family Hx from the list. Expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. Select a condition or management type. Enter a condition or management. To enter a code, select the Code field and then search for and select a SNOMED code. If a SNOMED code does not exist for a condition or management, then select the Code N/A check box to create a custom code. Select Add.The condition or the management you added appears in the grid. You can filter the records in the grid. You can configure the following in the Condition and Management Configuration panel: Conditions and management items with SNOMED codes for past medical history, past surgical history, management items, and family history.: HL7 codes for the social history and family history problem type Conditions and management items without SNOMED codes. Modify the Management Items
In the Management Items panel, you can update the management items in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Management Items panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the management items configured for the selected specialty. If you want to view management items configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. To filter management items in the grid based on a particular body system, do as follows: Select the Body system name filter field above the grid. A list of body systems appears. Select a body system from the list. The grid displays the management items associated with the selected body system. Highlight the row to be modified.The data populates in the fields. Make relevant edits in the fields and select Update.The changes are updated in the grid. Parent topic: Management Items

Modify the Medical Conditions
In the Past Medical History panel, you can update the medical conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Medical History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the medical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view medical conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid.The grid displays medical conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Past Medical History panel, see Filter the Medical Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified. The data populate in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields, and then select Update.The updated conditions appear in the grid.
