If a SNOMED code does not exist for a condition or management, then select the
Code N/A
check box to create a custom code.
Select
Add
.
The condition or the management you added appears in the grid. You can filter the records in the grid.

Configure HL7 SNOMED and LOINC Codes for Social History and Family History Problem Type
Open the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template and then expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. For Type of configuration, select HL7 and select PHX (Problem History) or SHX (Social History). Select a code system. SNOMED appears as the default code system. Click the field to select a different code system. In the Condition/Management field, enter the code description. To enter a SNOMED code, do one of the following: In the Code field, manually enter the SNOMED code. Select the arrow in the Code field and then search for and select a SNOMED code. The code description appears or is updated in Condition/Management field. To enter a LOINC code, manually enter the code in the Code field. Select Add. Parent topic: Condition and Management of Codes

Configure Conditions and Management Items Without SNOMED
Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. On the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template, expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. For Type of configuration, select any of the following options: PMH Medical (Past Medical History) - The configured conditions available for selection in the Past Medical History panel. PMH Management - The configure management items to be available for selection in the Management Items panel. Surgical - To configure surgical items to be available for selection in the Past Surgical History panel. Note: If you select the Surgical option, the system automatically selects the PMH Management option. Family History - To configure conditions to be available for selection in the Family History panel. Negative - To configure negative conditions to be available for selection in the Family History panel. Note: If you select the Negative option, the system

Filter the Condition and Management Configuration
In the Condition and Management Configuration panel, you can filter the condition or management configuration in the grid using the Type filter field. Open the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template and then expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. In the Filter section, select the Type field above the grid. Update, Remove, or Restore Conditions and Management Configurations
Select File and then select System/Practice. In Select Template, select All and then select Configure Medical, Surgical, and Family Hx from the list. Expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. Do one of the following: To update a condition or management, select a record from the grid, update the information and then select Update. To remove a condition or management, select a record from the grid and then select Remove. To view the deleted records, select the Show removed items checkbox.
