Configure Conditions and Management Items Without SNOMED

Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. On the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template, expand the Condition and Management Configuration panel. For Type of configuration, select any of the following options: PMH Medical (Past Medical History) - The configured conditions available for selection in the Past Medical History panel. PMH Management - The configure management items to be available for selection in the Management Items panel. Surgical - To configure surgical items to be available for selection in the Past Surgical History panel. Note: If you select the Surgical option, the system automatically selects the PMH Management option. Family History - To configure conditions to be available for selection in the Family History panel. Negative - To configure negative conditions to be available for selection in the Family History panel. Note: If you select the Negative option, the system

Past Surgical History

The Past Surgical History panel enables you to select the applicable surgical conditions for a specific specialty and/or practice. Family Health History Conditions

The Family History panel enables you to select the applicable family health history conditions for a specific specialty and/or practice. Access the Configure, Medical, Surgical, and Family Hx System Template

To configure a system level medical, surgical, and family health history content, you must access the Configure Medical, Surgical, and Family Hx system template. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, click the File menu and select System/Practice Template. In Select Template, click All to view a list of system templates. Select Configure Medical, Surgical, and Family Hx from the list and click OK. The Configure Medical, Surgical, and Family Hx template opens.
