Family Health History Conditions

The Family History panel enables you to select the applicable family health history conditions for a specific specialty and/or practice. Configuring Medical, Surgical and Family History

This document provides information on how to configure the specialty-specific medical history, surgical history, and family health history content. The Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template enables you to configure a list of medical, surgical and family health conditions, and management items that are associated with the SNOMED (Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine) codes. In run time, the configured conditions and management items appear in the Past Medical History and Family Health History templates. In the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template, you can configure different types of conditions as described in the table. Modify the Surgical Conditions

In the Past Surgical History panel, you can update the surgical conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Surgical History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the surgical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view surgical conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid.The grid displays surgical conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Past Surgical History panel, see Filter the Surgical Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified.The data appears in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields and select Update.The changes are updated in the grid.
