To configure the specialty-specific surgical conditions, select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.
To configure the surgical conditions for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, select Clear.
Select Sync Specialty and practice on all panels to synchronize the selected Specialty and Practice values on the following panels:
Past Medical History
Management Items
Family History
Select one of the following Type options to select the type of condition:
Standard
Sub Header
Sub-item - If you select Sub-item, a list of configured sub-headers appears. Select a sub-header from the list. The selected sub-header appears in the corresponding field.
Select Surgical and select a surgical condition from the list. The list includes the PMH Management: Surgical conditions configured in the Condition and Management Configuration panel.
Note: If you select the Sub Header option, you can configure a sub-header without a condition.
To configure surgical conditions for a specific gender, select Gender and select a gender from the list.
Select Body system name and select a body system from the list to link to the condition.
If required, in Alternate caption on popup, enter an alternate caption for the condition that appears in run time as the option label in the Surgical panel on the Past Medical History template.
If required, in Alternate display name in the grid, enter an alternate label for the condition that appears in run time after you add the condition in the grid on the Past Medical History template.
To clear value from all the fields and start over, select Clear.
Select Add.
The surgical condition appears in the grid.
The conditions configured in the Past Surgical History panel appear in run time as options in the Surgical panel on the Past Medical History template.
