Remove a Document Entry
Before you begin
Ensure that you have selected the
Specialty
and
Visit Type
as
Care Management
.
Open
NextGen® Enterprise EHR
.
On the
Plan/Intervention
tab, expand the
Document
panel.
Select the entry on the grid to be removed.
Select
Remove
.
The system removes the selected entry.

Add a Document Entry
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Document panel. Figure 1. . Document panel Select the Diagnosis field and use the resulting search screen to select the appropriate diagnosis. Select the appropriate Type of visit checkbox. If you provided a nursing care plan to the patient or family, select the Nursing care plan given to patient/family/care giver checkbox. Select Add. The system generates an entry on the data grid. Remove an ER Visit
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Comp Assessment tab, expand Recent ER Visits (in last 12 months) panel. Highlight the record that you want to remove from the grid. Select Remove. Remove Patient Hospitalization Records
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Comp Assessment tab, expand Recent Hospitalizations panel. Complete an Intervention
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. When the goal of an intervention has been achieved, you can complete the intervention. Completing the intervention removes it from the Interventions grid. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Interventions panel. Select an entry on the Interdisciplinary Team Member column.The system displays the interventions designated for the selected team member type in the grid. Select the intervention that you want to update and select Edit.The Nursing Care Plan Data template appears. The template is populated with the data for the selected intervention. Select the Intervention complete option. Change any other enabled fields as needed. Select Save & Close.The intervention is completed and removed from the intervention panel. Document Provider Interactions
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Documentation tab, expand the Provider Interactions panel, and then select Add.The Provider Interactions template opens. Type a description of the action taken in the Actions field. Select Save. To add another entry, select Clear For Add and repeat steps 2 and 3. When you have completed all need entries, select Close. The template closes and the saved entries appear on the Provider Interactions data grid. To remove an entry from the Provider Interactions grids, select the entry to be removed and select Remove. To change an entry on the grid, select the entry to be changed and select Edit. The Provider Interactions template appears and you can edit the text in the Actions field. Remove Document Types Linked to Guidelines or Tests
You can remove the link between a document type and a care guideline or test in the Document Types panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens. In the Manage Groups and Options panel, select the Enable Document Types to satisfy guidelines checkbox. Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalent Codes/Descriptions panel and select Document Types/ Codifications section. Care Guidelines Setup In the Intervention/Test Name field, select a guideline or test.The document types linked to the guideline or test appear in the Document Type grid. Select a document type in the grid.The Remove button is turned on. Document Types Select Remove.The selected document type is removed from the grid. To view all removed or inactive document types, select the Show only Removed/Inactive checkbox. To act
