You can remove the link between a document type and a care guideline or test in the Document Types panel.
 
  - Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
 
  - From File, select System \ Practice Template.
   
    The Select Template window opens.
   
 
  - On the Practice tab, select the All option.
 
  - Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
   
    The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens.
   
 
  - In the Manage Groups and Options panel, select the Enable Document Types to satisfy guidelines checkbox.
 
  - Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalent Codes/Descriptions panel and select Document Types/ Codifications section.
   
 
  - In the Intervention/Test Name field, select a guideline or test.
   
    The document types linked to the guideline or test appear in the Document Type grid.
   
 
  - Select a document type in the grid.
   
    The 
Remove button is turned on. 
    
    
  - Select Remove.
   
    The selected document type is removed from the grid.
   
 
  - To view all removed or inactive document types, select the Show only Removed/Inactive checkbox.
 
  - To activate an inactive document type, select the document type in the grid, and then select Add/Update.
