Add a Document Entry

Before you begin

Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Document panel.

  3. Select the Diagnosis field and use the resulting search screen to select the appropriate diagnosis.
  4. Select the appropriate Type of visit checkbox.
  5. If you provided a nursing care plan to the patient or family, select the Nursing care plan given to patient/family/care giver checkbox.
  6. Select Add. The system generates an entry on the data grid.
