Remove a Document Entry

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Document panel. Generate Care Management Documents

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. You can generate the following documents from the Document panel: Nursing Care Plan Summary Transition of Care Comprehensive Assessment Return Visit Care Management Summary Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Document panel. To add additional records, fill in the fields as appropriate and select Add. To generate a nursing care plan Summary document, select the Generate Nursing Care Plan Summary link. To generate a transition of care document, select the Generate Transition of Care link. To generate a comprehensive assessment document, select the Generate Comp Assess link. To generate a return visit document, select the Generate Return Visit link. Use the Document Panel to Complete a Visit

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Documentation template, expand the Document panel. Document Add or update the diagnosis code as needed. Choose the appropriate type of visit for the encounter. Select the Add button. Update an Intervention

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. The interventions appear only if they are added in the Nursing Care Plan Data template in the History panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Interventions panel. Select an appropriate entry from the Interdisciplinary Team Member column.The system displays the interventions designated for the selected team member type. Interventions Select the intervention that you want to update and select Add.The Nursing Care Plan Data template opens. The template is populated with the data for the selected intervention. Add a Case History Entry

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. The Case History panel enables you to track the history of a case by adding entries for case-related events. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Case & Consent template, expand the Consent panel. Navigate to the Case History panel. Case History From the Case History panel, select Add/Update. The CM New Case template opens. CM New Case Select the appropriate option for status under Indicate Status. Enter the Open date under Case Information.The current NextGen Healthcare user’s name populates to the open by text box. Select a reason in the Reason field. Select a Case Manager. Enter a Close date, if applicable. Select Update to add the new entry to the data grid. To task the entry, select on the entry in the grid and select Task. Follow the normal tasking steps to send the task to a recipient. Open Diagnostic History Entry when Documenting Histories
