You can view vaccination details. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Immunization - Adult template. To view the vaccination details of the patient, select an immunization.The details of the vaccine appear below the grid. Generate Information from Document Library
You can generate patient information using the documents listed on the Documents and Letters template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Select the Document Library link.The Documents and Letters template opens. Note: You can go to the Document and Letters template using the Document Library link on the navigation bar. Clinical Narratives for Clinical Note Types You can manage various clinical narratives. Add Clinical Narratives You can add clinical narratives for clinical note types for the current encounter. Manage Clinical Narratives You can review, update, remove, or restore clinical narratives using the Clinical Narratives template. Document New Allergies for a Patient
You can document allergy details of a patient. Before you begin If the Joint Commission standards are turned on, the Practice Configuration template, document allergy information after entering whether the patient is new or established along with the Visit Type and Historian. After documenting allergies, continue entering other details. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Intake template, in the Allergies panel, select Add.The age-specific allergies template opens. Select the applicable checkboxes, and then select the associated reaction from the corresponding list. If the patient's allergy information is not available on the template, select Manage Allergies and document the allergy details. If you want to document the allergy severity and additional details, select Manage Allergies.A message appears indicating to confirm if you want to add the selected allergy to the Medication Allergies module. Viewing Links on the Intake Template
The links on the Intake template enable you to open the templates where you can document the patient details. The Intake template associated with the various specialties has the following common links. The links that appear on the Intake template vary depending on the specialty that you have selected. You can also customize the links as per your requirements. Standing Orders. Enables you to open the Office Services template to create or update orders, document details of the diagnosis, and bill the orders. Adult Immunizations. Enables you to add the vaccine and allergy details of adult patients. Peds Immunizations. Enables you to add the vaccine, medication, and allergy details of pediatric patients. My Plan. Enables you to document the treatment plan of a patient on the My Plan template. Procedures. Enables you to document the details of the procedures performed during the patient encounter. Document Vaccine Adverse Events
You can document the adverse effects of a vaccine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Immunization - Adult template. In the Vaccine Adverse Event Report section, select Add. The Vaccine Adverse Event Report window opens. Vaccine Adverse Event Report To enter the details of the adverse event, do the following: Select the onset date and time of the adverse event. Enter the reaction to the administered substance. Select the appropriate checboxes to indicate the result of the patient's illness. Indicate where the vaccination is done. Indicate how the vaccine is purchased. Select the appropriate option to indicate the recovery of the patient. If the patient had any illness at the time of vaccination, enter the details. Enter the diagnostic test details, if any. Indicate whether any adverse event is reported previously. Enter the details of any family history of adverse events following vaccinations. Select OK. Buttons on the Adult Immunization Template
The buttons on the Immunization - Adult template appear at the top of the data grid. Buttons Description Refresh Refreshes the immunization status data. Sign-off The provider can sign-off the vaccines administered to the patient. Print Prints the immunization summary. Fax Faxes the immunization summary. Reconcile Reconciles the history of immunizations provided to the patient at various practices and enterprises. Historical You can manually enter patient immunization information. Exclusions Reviews immunization exclusions for the selected group. Web Links Displays a list of web links for additional information about immunization.
