Open the Adult Immunization Template

You can document the immunization details of a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Select the Adult Immunizations link.The Immunization - Adult template opens. Add Vaccination Details of Adult Patients

You can document the vaccination details of an adult patient. To add the details of medications and allergies, you can double-click the data grid in the Medication and Allergies panels to open Medication and Allergies modules, respectively. You can use the Reconcile button to reconcile the history of immunizations provided to the patient at various practices and enterprises. If the patient has any medication or allergy related alerts, you can enter the alert information in the Alert field. You can also view the list of web links for additional information about immunizations. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Immunization - Adult template. View Immunizations and Care Guidelines Protocols

You can view and discuss immunizations and care guidelines with patient through the Protocols panel on the Telephone Call template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Telephone Call template, and then expand the Protocols panel. Note: By default, the Guidelines option is selected. To view and discuss care guidelines that are due within a specific time frame, select the Show due within checkbox and select the time period. Note: The Show due within checkbox appears only for the Guidelines option. To view and discuss immunization details with the patient, select Immunizations.The panel name changes to Immunizations. Obtain Test/Code Information for Vaccines for Individual Patients (Immunizations Module)

You can obtain the test or code information for vaccines for individual patient using the Order module template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On an encounter for a patient, open the Order module. Select the Immunizations tab. Select the latest date of the immunization for the guideline to map, for example, influenza. View Patient Intake Responses

You can view patient intake responses in NextGen Virtual Visits™. If the patient has completed intake, the responses appear in the Intake panel within the visit details. You can also view answers to intake questions in the Visit Summary in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the Visits Visits icon icon from the main menu. View Patient's Immunization Status

Before you begin You must ensure that you have the View access right enabled in MODULES > Medical Records > Orders in System Administrator. You can view the patient's overdue vaccines, that is, vaccine series that are past due, due now, and pending. You can also open the Orders Module for more details on the patient's immunization order history.
