Enter the Client's Current Prescription Information

On the Medication information panel, if the client is not on any medications and the grid is empty, select the None reported option. In the Active and inactive medications section, click in the grid to open the Medications module. When a row is populated, highlight it and click the Patient Education button to print out educational material associated with the selected prescription. To include medication details in the generated document, click Comments. Under Other medications Reported by Patient, use the Add, Update, Remove, and/or Clear buttons to enter the correct information into the grid. Note: Non-clinical staff may be entering this information and may not be clear as to exactly what additional medications the client may be taking. Additionally, some clients may claim that they are on medications but deny that they have the condition for which the medication is given. Document Medication Information

On the BH - Psychopharm template, expand the Medication Information panel. Answer the following questions with Yes, No, or Not applicable as applies: Takes meds as prescribed Changes in medical status Other meds Allergic reactions Side effects reported Note: All allergic reactions must be entered in the Allergies module to ensure that they are apparent on future visits. Click the Side effects reported link to open the Medication Side Effects - BH template. Entering information on the template automatically selects the Yes option in the Medication Information panel and turns the Side effects reported link purple to indicate that data is present from that link. At the top of the grid, click the Comments link if additional information is required. All prescriptions currently existing in the Medications module are visible in the grid under the Active Medications section. If a medication is Inactive, a stop date appears in the grid. Activate a Medication

Open the Medication Configuration template. Expand the Medication Dispensing Inventory panel. Select an inactive medication from the grid.The medication information appears in the fields. Stop a Medication or Clear a Medication Schedule

After a medication is stopped, it is removed from the Active grid view and moved to the Inactive grid view. You can select the Inactive option to view and confirm stopped medications. The medication is no longer available for administration in the Medication Administration (BH) template. From the Medication grid, select an active medication. In the Stop Date field, enter the date you want to stop the medication. The stop date must be after the Start Date and cannot be a future date. Select in the Stop Time field and the time defaults to the current system time. Select Stop Drug.The stop time displays in the Stop Time/Reason/Comment field. If the medication was a scheduled medication, an alert appears. Deactivate a Medication

Open the Medication Configuration template. Expand the Medication Dispensing Inventory panel. Select the medication in the grid.The medication information appears in the fields. Filter Medication Information

Use the options above the Medication Information Configuration grid to filter the grid display. The Grid Filter options filter the grid to display All medications, or only Billable or Non-Billable medications.
