Open the Template Data Sets Setup Template

The Health Promotion Plan template is packaged with BMI Plan, Depression Plan, and Hypertension Plan. You can also create a customized health promotion plans. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Set Up HPIs to Appear in the Reason for Visit

You can set up the History of Present Illness (HPI) to appear in the reason for visit. A practice can configure the Reason for Visit panel using the Framework Content system template. For more information on the reason for visit configuration, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Framework Content System Template for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. In the Show section, select All. To open the Framework Content template, double-click Framework Content. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list. Expand the Reason for Visit panel. In Filter, select the all option. Select the reason for visit linked to the appropriate History of Present Illness (HPI), which you want to add to the all list in the Reason for Visit list. Set Up Template Preferences

You can configure the default and preferred templates to automatically open the templates for an encounter. You can also configure the workflow after opening an encounter from the Workflow Appointment list. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select Tools > Preferences.The Preferences window opens. To move a commonly used template in the preferred list, select the template in the Available Templates list and then select the right arrow.The selected template appears in the Preferred Templates list. Open the Quick Task Setup

You can create a task using Quick Tasks. You can configure the recipients for your orders or tasks using the Practice Configuration practice template. Once configured, the task is automatically sent to the configured recipient at run time. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. Set Up the Joint Commission Standards

The Joint Commission standards configuration for all NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine templates is found on the Practice Configuration template. If you enable the Joint Commission standards in the Practice Configuration practice template, all fields and links related to the Joint Commission are enabled. When you enable the Joint Commission standards, you need to document and review allergy information before recording any other patient data during the encounter. An alert message appears indicating that allergy information cannot be blank in the specified template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
