Grid	Description
Today’s Concerns/Reasons for Visit	Displays the concern or reason of visit.
Billing Diagnosis History	Displays a list of active diagnoses for this particular patient.
Clinical Problems	Displays a list of all active problems that have been entered into the Problems module for this patient.
My Favorites	Displays the provider’s personal list of diagnoses that were saved for ease of use and are not specific to the particular patient.

Open the Add or Update Assessment Template

Delete an Existing Assessment

CAUTION: Removing an item from the Today's Assessment grid does not resolve the diagnosis. The Add or Update Assessments template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates as the working assessment. If you remove one of multiple available assessments on the Add or Update Assessments template, you must select a new working assessment that carries over to the other templates that share the same working assessment. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Assessments tab, in the Today's Assessment grid, select the row to be deleted. Click Remove. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Add or Update Assessment Template

Remove an Assessment from Add or Update Assessment Template

If you remove an assessment from the Add or Update Assessment template, you must add an assessment to carry over to other templates that share the same working assessment. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Add or Update Assessment template, select the Assessments tab. In the Today's Assessment grid, select an assessment. Select Remove. Select Save & Close. Access the Add or Update Assessment Template

Select the Add/Update button below the Today’s Assessment grid on the MICS MedAdmin OPH template. The Add or Update Assessment template opens. Diagnoses already attached to treatments for this patient appear in the Billing Diagnosis History grid in the upper left. Note: The Add or Update Assessment template is part of a template set, the templates of which are indicated and accessed by the tabs along the top of the window. Update an Assessment in Today's Assessment Update an Assessment in Today's Assessment You can update the patient's assessments in the Today's Assessments grid. You can also add an assessment to the patient's clinical problems list as a chronic condition or add it to the provider's list of tracked problems and My Favorites so that it can easily be found and selected for other patients. Highlight the row with the assessment in the Today's Assessments grid. The fields in the Impression section fill with the selected assessment details. Click the Side field and select the affected side from the pick list. The selected value appears in the Today's Assessments grid and the Impression section. Enter a Status.
