Enter Pre-Treatment Values for Spirometry

You can use the General panel on the Spirometry template to record the pre-treatment details for spirometry testing.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. In the Spirometry panel, select Add.
   The Spirometry template opens.

   

3. In the General panel, to record a diagnosis, do the following:
   1. In the Diagnosis field, select a diagnosis from the diagnosis search window.
      For more information on how to search and select diagnosis code, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Templates User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
   2. In the Status field, select a status from the list.
4. Select one of the following:
   • FVC
   • FEV1
   • FEV1/FVC%
   • FEV 25-75
   • PEF
   • MMV
   • VC
5. Enter the Pre-Treatment values in the respective fields.
6. Select Spirometry Screening Questions to answer Yes or No for the screening questions.
   Note: You can add additional comments in the Comments field.
7. Select Save.
   The documented information displays in the grid.
