Add a Treating Assessment

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessment section, click Add.The PT Treating Assessment template opens. PT Treating Assessment Do one of the following: Click the Add Common Assessment link, click an appropriate assessment link, select a description from the resulting list, and then click OK. Click the Assessment field, search for and highlight a diagnosis, and then click Select. Click Add To Grid. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Treating Assessments

Remove a Treating Assessment

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessments section, highlight the assessment to be deleted in the grid. Click Remove. Parent topic: Treating Assessments

Edit an Encounter Assessment

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Subjective template, General panel, Encounter Diagnosis section, highlight an assessment within the grid. Click Edit to open the Assessments template. Make any necessary changes and then click Add/Update. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Encounter Diagnosis

Update an Assessment on the SOAP Template

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the SOAP template, in the Assessment / Plan panel, select an assessment you want to update in the grid. Remove an Assessment from Add or Update Assessment Template

If you remove an assessment from the Add or Update Assessment template, you must add an assessment to carry over to other templates that share the same working assessment. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Add or Update Assessment template, select the Assessments tab. In the Today's Assessment grid, select an assessment. Select Remove. Select Save & Close. Edit Assessments

You can edit assessments on the Assessment and Plan template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Soap - Cardiology template. Click the Assessment/Plan panel. Select the assessment that you want to edit. The Assessment And Plan template opens. In the Status grid, click Edit an Assessment. Edit an Assessment - Assessment And Plan The Assessment grid displays the assessments for the current encounter. In the Assessment grid, select the value to edit. Edit the assessment in the Free Text Assessment field. The updated text appears in the Assessment field. Click Update. Click Accept.
