Edit a Treating Assessment
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessments section, select the assessment in the grid to be updated. Click Edit to launch the PT Treating Assessment template. Select the item to be updated in the Treating assessment grid. Make any updates or changes as needed. Add a Treating Assessment
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessment section, click Add.The PT Treating Assessment template opens. PT Treating Assessment Do one of the following: Click the Add Common Assessment link, click an appropriate assessment link, select a description from the resulting list, and then click OK. Click the Assessment field, search for and highlight a diagnosis, and then click Select. Click Add To Grid. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Treating Assessments

Remove an Assessment from Add or Update Assessment Template
If you remove an assessment from the Add or Update Assessment template, you must add an assessment to carry over to other templates that share the same working assessment. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Add or Update Assessment template, select the Assessments tab. In the Today's Assessment grid, select an assessment. Select Remove. Select Save & Close. Remove an Assessment on the SOAP Template
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Assessment / Plan panel, select an assessment in the grid. The Add or Update Assessment template opens. In the Today's Assessment grid, select an assessment. Delete an Existing Assessment
CAUTION: Removing an item from the Today's Assessment grid does not resolve the diagnosis. The Add or Update Assessments template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates as the working assessment. If you remove one of multiple available assessments on the Add or Update Assessments template, you must select a new working assessment that carries over to the other templates that share the same working assessment. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Assessments tab, in the Today's Assessment grid, select the row to be deleted. Click Remove. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Add or Update Assessment Template

Edit an Encounter Assessment
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Subjective template, General panel, Encounter Diagnosis section, highlight an assessment within the grid. Click Edit to open the Assessments template. Make any necessary changes and then click Add/Update. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Encounter Diagnosis
