Documenting Referral Orders

You can place or manage orders for referrals of other specialists, locations, therapies, and durable medical equipment (DME) in the Referrals Orders or Referral Management template.

When a referral includes sensitive attachments, such as documents, NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Document Management images, and SAP® Crystal Reports®, the referral is marked as sensitive. You can change sensitive attachments by using the Referral Attachments template.
