The Patient Prep panel displays the prep types documented by the scheduler on the ASC - Scheduling Screening Questions template. For information on prep documentation, see Patient Prep Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template. In the Patient Prep panel, the clinical support staff reviews the prep types and adds any new prep type for the patient. If the case ID of the encounters is identical, then the data entered in the panel on the ASC - Pre admission template carry forward to the next encounters within the same case ID. Procedure Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Procedure panel displays the procedure details documented by the scheduler in the Procedure panel on the ASC - Screening Questions template. The clinical support staff can review the documented data and make the applicable changes. If the case ID of the two encounters is the same, the details documented in this panel on the ASC - Pre admission template carry forward to the Procedure panel on the ASC templates in another encounter. Barriers To Care Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Barriers to Care panel allows you to record and track patient circumstances that may negatively impact the patient’s ability to comply with the requirements of the care plan. Examples of barriers to care include such things as a lack of reliable transportation, difficulty communicating, other medical conditions that inhibit movement or understanding, family issues that make care difficult, and so on. The Barriers to Care panel is shared with other templates and specialties. This information carries forward to care management or family practice templates. Patient Pre Admission Instructions Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel displays the pre-admission instructions configured for a procedure. In addition, the answers selected for certain interview questions also add the pre-admission instructions to the panel grid. The pre-admission patient instructions are pre-configured on the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. This panel also allows the clinical support staff to add any new patient instructions. After you review or add patient instructions, select the Sign off checkbox. The Completed by field appears with the user name currently logged on to the system. The Date and Time fields appears with the current date and time of sign off. You can select the clock to add the current system time in the Time field. If the case ID of the encounters is the same, the data entered in this panel on the ASC - Pre admission template appears in the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel on the ASC templates in the next encounters. Chart Check Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Chart Check panel on the ASC - Pre admission template displays the tasks documented by the scheduler on the ASC - Scheduling Questions template. In this panel, the clinical support staff reviews the tasks to add a new task or updates/removes any existing tasks. If the case ID of the encounters is identical, then the data entered in the Chart Check panel on the ASC - Pre admission template appears in the Chart Check panel on any of the ASC templates to the next subsequent encounters within the same case ID.
