Document the ASC Phy Procedure Findings Template

In the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template, the Procedure field displays the procedure selected in the Reason for Visit section of the Findings panel.

The Start navigational tab appears below the Procedure field. This tab displays the sections and the sub-sections in the left pane. The sections and associated sub-sections are configured for a procedure on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template.

Select a section from the left pane.
The right grid displays a list of findings associated with the section.
Note: A section can include a list of sub-sections configured on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. You need to select a sub-section in the left pane to display a list of findings associated with the sub-section in the right grid.
Select an appropriate finding(s) from the right grid. An asterisk (*) appears to the left of the section and the selected finding.
If the findings in the right grid are not appropriate for selection:
- Select custom value in the list, available for some of the sections.
  
  The custom value template opens.
Type the appropriate value in the field and select OK.
The entered value appears in the right grid, replacing the custom value verbiage.
The system automatically selects the next element in the left pane and the corresponding findings appear in the right grid. If the list in the right grid allows multiple selections, then you need to manually select the next section in the left pane. The navigational tab displays the next selected section or sub-section.

As the selections are made, the selected data concatenates into the field at the bottom of the template.

The field displays the concatenated view of the selected values in a Paragraph format.
If you want to view the data in a tabular format, select the Grid option.
To add additional details on the findings, select Add/Edit Comments.
The ASC Phy Procedure comment template opens.
Enter any additional Comments on the findings and select Add.
The My Phrases link is used to add the common phrases in the Comments field.
You can use the My Phrases link at the top-right of the Comments field to add comments. For more information on managing and using the My Phrases functionality, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download theGetting Started User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine.
Select Close.
The comments add to the end of the concatenated record in the field below the View label. If you select the Default paragraph view to editable checkbox on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, then the My Phrases link appears on the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template to select and/or add comments.

The Clear button is used to clear the documented data from the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template.

To save the documented value as the default set, select the Quick Save button. For information on the quick save and quick load functionality, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Getting Started User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine.
Select Close.
The data documented on the template appears in the grid below GET.
