Sort the Procedure Documentation and Findings Values

You can change the order of the sections, subsections, and the right grid values using the Documentation panel.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template.
3. In Select Template, select the Practice tab.
4. In the Show section, select All.
   A list of practice templates opens.
5. Select Procedure Documentation Config and select OK.
6. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Documentation panel.
7. Select Procedure and select a procedure from the list, and then select Procedure documentation or Procedure findings.
8. To sort a value in the left pane:
   • Select the Enable sort checkbox.
   • Select a value from the left pane.
   • Select promote or demote below the left pane, and the selected value moves to a new position.
   Note: If you attempt to sort a section linked to another section, an alert message appears to confirm the changes. You can select the information icon to view information on the section order.
9. To sort a value in the right grid:
   • Select a section or subsection from the left pane. The right grid displays the associated values.
   • Highlight a value in the right grid.
   • Select promote or demote below the right grid and the selected value moves to a new position.
   The sections, subsections, and the right grid values on the runtime ASC Procedure Documentation and ASC Phy Procedure Findings templates are in the same order as the values in the Documentation panel.
