Document Penile Injections

You can document the details of the penile injection procedure.

1. On the SOAP template, select the Procedures link.
   The Procedures template opens.
2. In the Genitourinary section, select Penile Injection.
   The Procedure - Penile Injection template opens.
3. In the Indication section, select Description , and select a diagnosis.
   The code is automatically filled.
4. To enter a saved default set, select Quick Load and Save.
5. In the Pre-procedure care section, select the appropriate checkboxes after explaining the procedure details to the patient.
   Note: To add more information about the consent, select the Consent link.
6. In the Procedure section, select the procedure type.
7. In the Injection Status section, select the injection status.
8. In the Anesthesia section, select the anesthesia from the list and then enter the dosage details, lot number, and expiry date of the anesthesia.
   • If the procedure is done without anesthesia, select None.
9. In the Details section, enter the rigidity percentage and the name of the provider who performed the procedure along with date and time.
10. Enter any complication details in Complications.
11. Enter the post procedure and the follow-up instructions.
12. Select Save & Close.
    A window opens to confirm if a bill must be submitted for this procedure.
13. Select Yes to submit the bill, or No to save and exit.
