Document Urodynamics Procedures

You can document the details of the urodynamics procedure.

1. On the SOAP template, select the Procedures link.
   The Procedures template opens.
2. In the Genitourinary section, select Urodynamics.
   The Procedure - Urodynamics template opens.

   

3. In the Indication for Procedure section, do the following:
   1. Select Description, and select the diagnosis.
      The code is automatically filled.
   2. Enter or select the date when the diagnosis is performed.
   3. Select Status, and select the diagnosis status from the list.
4. To enter a saved default set, select Quick Load and Save.
5. In the Pre-Procedure Care section, select the appropriate check boxes after explaining the procedure details to the patient.
   Note: To add more information about the consent, select the Consent link.
6. In the Uroflowmetry, Leak Point Pressure, and Cystometrogram sections, select the appropriate options and enter the findings of the tests performed.
7. In the Impression section, select the interpretation date and enter the urodynamic study interpretations.
8. Select the electromyography option.
9. Enter the voiding cystourethrogram test details.
10. Select the appropriate check boxes and options to document the patient's response to the procedure.
11. Enter the follow-up visit instructions.
12. Enter any additional information in Comments.
13. To submit the procedure charges, select Submit to Superbill.
14. Select Save & Close.
