Create Immunization Order from the Vaccine Category Favorites

You can use create an immunization record from the Vaccine Category favorites.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. Open the Intake - Cardiology template.
3. Select the Cardiac Orders panel.
4. Select Immunizations.
   The Immunizations template opens.
5. Select New.
6. On Create New Immunization Order, click the Imm tab.
7. Select the appropriate category from the Favorites.
   Vaccines grouped in the category appear within the selected pane.

   

8. Select an immunization from the list.
   Selected vaccines appear in the lower pane of Create New Immunization Order template.

   Note: If the Review Allergies option is set to Yes, the Review Allergies window opens and allergies need to be reviewed before continuing.

   • Select COUNSELED, if necessary, to document counseling for use of Pediatric administration codes.
   • Check the diagnosis codes that apply.

9. Select Close.
