Create Findings for HPI Reasons

You can create findings for the created History of Present Illness (HPI) reasons in the Configure Procedure Indications panel.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. Open the ASC Procedure Config practice template and expand the Configure Procedure Indications panel.
3. Select a reason.
4. Select the applicable section from the Sections grid.
   The standard selection type record appears in the Findings grid.
5. Select Selection type and select a value from the list.

6. Select Parameter, select a value.
   Note: The only selection type that does not have a parameter is standard selection.
7. Enter a caption for the finding and then enter the details.
8. In Finding Type, select an item from the list.
   Note: The Sentence field and the Edit/Create new sentence link are not applicable for the ambulatory surgery specialty.
