Add Ambulatory Surgery Procedures

You can add a procedure name and link a procedure site to each procedure.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. Open the ASC Procedure Config practice template and expand the Procedure Setup panel.
   

3. Select Procedure name, and select a procedure from the list.
   The list includes the procedure names available in the grid.
4. Optional: To add a procedure, select Cancel on the list, and then enter a new procedure in Procedure name.
5. Select Site, and select a procedure site from the list.
   The list includes the procedure sites available in the grid.
6. Optional: To add a procedure site, select Cancel on the list, and then enter a new procedure site in Site.
7. Select the status of the procedure.
   Note: The configured procedure in the Procedure Setup panel is available for selection in the Procedure panel in the runtime Ambulatory Surgery framework templates. Only the active procedures are available for selection in the Procedure panel.
8. Select Add.
   The new procedure appears in the grid. You can link the procedure to an existing History of Present Illness (HPI) reason.
