Configure Procedure Findings

You can configure findings for a procedure and map the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) findings to the procedure findings using the Procedure Findings panel.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template.
3. In Select Template, select the Practice tab.
4. In the Show section, select All.
   A list of practice templates opens.
5. Select Procedure Documentation Config and select OK.
6. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Procedure Findings panel.
7. Select Procedure to open a list of procedures associated with the selected specialty.
   Note: The procedures are configured for a specialty on the Procedure Config practice template.
8. Select a procedure to configure findings for a specific procedure.
9. In Procedure findings, enter a finding to be associated with the procedure.
10. To map the procedure finding to a finding in GET, select GET findings equivalent and select a GET finding from the list.
    Note: The list includes the GET findings that are not mapped to a procedure finding. You cannot assign the same GET findings to more than one finding in a procedure.
11. In Location qualifier, enter a location for the findings.
    If the grid includes previously entered locations, the Location qualifier field opens a list of locations available in the grid.
12. To map a GET region with the location of the finding, select GET location qualifier equivalent and select a GET region from the list.
    The list includes the regions from the Graphical Exam Tool configured in the client database.
13. Select Add.
    The documented data appears in the grid.
