Configure Lab Statuses and Incomplete Tests

You can configure lab statuses as final and incomplete results by using the Lab Status/Incomplete Test Configuration template.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
   The Select Template window opens.
3. On the Practice tab, select the All option.
4. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
   The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens.
5. Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalent Codes/Descriptions panel, and then in the File Maintenance Mappings section, select the Lab Status / Incomplete Test Configuration link.
   The Lab Status/Incomplete Test Configuration window opens.

   Note: To filter the configurations, you can select the Status, Incomplete Result, and Removed/Deleted records only options.
6. Select Lab vendor from the list.
7. Enter the details in Test status to be included.
8. Add comments about the test result.
9. To record the details, select Add.
   You can also update or remove the test records.
