Display Removed or Inactive Intervention Description Equivalents

You can view an inactive description of an equivalent or a test for a patient's guideline. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK. The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens. Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalents Codes/Descriptions panel and select the Show only Removed/Inactive checkbox corresponding to the appropriate grid.The removed or inactive intervention description equivalents are displayed. Update Intervention Code Equivalents

You can update a code equivalent for an intervention or a test for a patient's guideline. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens. Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalent Codes/Descriptions panel, and then select the code in the Intervention Code Equivalent grid.The code appears in the corresponding Intervention Code Equivalent field. Note: The Orderable checkbox is selected by default when the Orderable column displays Y for the test code. Make the necessary changes to the code. Optional: To change the orderable status for the test code, select or clear the Orderable checkbox. Select Add/Update.The updated code appears in the grid. Remove a Test Description for an Intervention Equivalent

You can remove a description of an intervention or a test for a patient's guideline. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens. Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalent Codes/Descriptions panel, and then select the description in the Description Equivalent grid.The description appears in Intervention description equivalent. Add or Update a Test Description for an Intervention Equivalent

You can document a description of an intervention or a test for a patient's guideline. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guidelines Setup, and then select OK.The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens. Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalent Codes/Descriptions panel, and then in Intervention/Test Name, select a test.The File Maintenance Mappings grid displays the test code mappings to the selected test available in the NextGen test compendium. The Intervention Equivalents section shows all descriptions and codes currently in the system that are equivalent ways of identifying to the selected test. View Intervention Equivalents and Codes for a Guideline Test

You can view and add the intervention equivalent descriptions and codes for a patient's guideline. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
