View Intervention Equivalents and Codes for a Guideline Test

You can view and add the intervention equivalent descriptions and codes for a patient's guideline.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
   The Select Template window opens.
3. On the Practice tab, select the All option.
4. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
   The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens.
5. Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalent Codes/Descriptions panel, and then in Intervention/Test Name, select a guideline test.
   All descriptions and codes configured for the selected guideline test appear in the panel. The File Maintenance Mappings grid displays the test code mappings to the selected test available in the NextGen test compendium.

   
   
   

   The Intervention Equivalents section displays all descriptions and codes currently in the system that are equivalent ways of identifying to the selected test:

   • The Intervention description equivalent grid displays all descriptions configured for the test.
   • The Intervention code equivalent grid displays all codes configured for the test.
