Pay Your Co-Pay

You may be required to pay your co-pay before you can join the visit with your provider. If you are required to make a payment, the Payment tab appears after you accept the Terms of Use. The tab displays a co-pay amount that you must pay before you join the visit. On the Payment tab, review the displayed amount. Do one of the following: If your provider allows you to change the amount, locate the co-pay amount on your card, enter that amount onscreen, and then select Continue. Payment tab that allows co-pay change If your provider does not allow you to change the amount, select Continue. Payment tab that doesn't allow co-pay change The Payment tab displays billing and payment information. Before you begin Make sure you're in a private room with reliable Wi-Fi® or cellular service. Review the Devices and Connection Guide at Patient Resources. Before your visit, run a quick test on your device at Run Quick Video and Audio Test. Note: If you have questions regarding your health care needs, payment, or scheduling, contact your provider's office. From the NextGen Virtual Visits™ confirmation or remainder emails or text message you received, select Join Visit, or copy and paste the URL into your browser. Optional: To make sure you are using a supported device, select Test My Device before you join the visit. On your virtual visit page, select from the language list, and then select Check-in. On Terms and Consent, review and select the necessary checkboxes, and then select Next. Select from the Patient Location list, select Next, complete the intake questions, and then select Next. Join a Virtual Visit

In the NextGen® Enterprise EHR inbox, select the virtual visit.When your patient is ready to join the visit, the appointment is marked as Kept in NextGen. Log on to Virtual Visits Log In Page. In Visits list, select the visit. Note: In NextGen Virtual Visits™, a green check mark icon appears next to the patient’s name in the visit list to indicate the patient is ready for the visit, and the Join Visit button becomes available. In the Intake panel, review the intake answers. Select Join Visit.Your visit begins. To change your video background, select the Virtual Background icon, and the select the necessary background.If you use the same device and browser for your next virtual visit, the application retains the last selected option. Note: The Blur and Virtual Background options are not supported on the Safari® browser. The Virtual Background option is only available for users using desktop devices. Add Attachments to Charges

You can add up to five images to a charge. You can take a photo with your device, or add an image from your My Content library. Note: If you are an integrated NextGen® clinic user, when you add an image to a charge, the charge is sent to NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal for review. You can review and then enter the charge details to NextGen® Enterprise EHR manually. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Patient Chart view Select New Charge in the Charges section. The New Charge view opens. New Charge view Select Attach Image. The Camera Options message appears. To take a photo, do the following: Select Take Photo. Your camera opens. Select the white circle to take the photo, and then do one of the following: To discard the current photo and take another, select Retake. The camera reopens and you can take another photo. Share Documents and Images

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Select Docs & Images. The Docs & Images section opens. Select Share. The Select Documents view opens. Select Documents View Send appears when you select documents. The number of documents selected is also displayed. Select the document. The selected document is highlighted. If only one document exists, the document opens. To share the documents, select Send. To share a document you have opened, you can select , and then select Share Document. The Select Contact(s) view opens. Select contacts. You can enter the contact name to filter the contact list. The selected contacts appear in the To field. Select Create. Send Annotations with Images to NextGen Patient Portal

You can send annotations attached with an image while sending that image to a patient's account in NextGen® PxP Portal. To send annotations with the image, you must configure the setting at the practice level in File Maintenance. In File Maintenance, access Master Files > System or PM or Document Management > Practices. The Practices List window opens. In the Practices list, double-click the appropriate practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select the Preferences button. The Practice Preferences window opens. In the Preferences List, select Imaging. In the Patient Portal Options section, select the Send Annotations With Image check box. Select OK. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select OK. The Practice List window opens.
