View Patient Intake Responses

You can view patient intake responses in NextGen Virtual Visits™. If the patient has completed intake, the responses appear in the Intake panel within the visit details. You can also view answers to intake questions in the Visit Summary in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the Visits Visits icon icon from the main menu. In Upcoming, select the patient whose intake information you would like to view. In the Intake area, review the patient intake responses. Parent topic: Managing Patient Intake

Patient Intake Workflow

To customize the questions to the visit type, you can turn on or turn off the following intake steps: Consent to Use of Telehealth Show at each visit. Show once per year. Intake Questions Single Select Multi-Select Free Text Image Patient Location Payment You cannot turn off the following intake steps that are mandatory for all visit types: Terms and Conditions - Displayed to users once a year. Add a Patient Guest Before a Visit

Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the VisitsVisits icon icon from the main menu. In the Upcoming tab, select the visit you want to add a guest to. In the Invited Guests panel, select Add GuestAdd Guest icon. Select Yes. In the applicable fields, enter the guest’s First Name, Last Name, and their Relationship to the Patient . In the How should this guest receive their invite field, select the box next to the preferred way to contact the guest. This method is used to send the invitation to join the visit to the guest. If the patient has authorized this guest to join the visit, select the Patient (or legal representative) authorized disclosure of visit data to specified guest option. Select Add. Start Virtual Visits

Virtual visit patients do not come to your office. When the virtual-visit scheduled patients check in, a virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon Virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon appears in the Schedule view. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon.The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources.The Schedule view opens. Managing Guests in NextGen Virtual Visits™

NextGen Virtual Visits™ allows you to manage guests within the application and during your virtual visits. When managing NextGen Virtual Visits™ guests, keep the following information in mind: Guest RSVP and Response Status: When a guest is added to a patient visit, they can respond or RSVP to an invitation; however, this response is not required to join the visit, nor does it affect the link to join. In addition, if a guest declines, this response does not prevent them from joining if they later change their mind. You can view the response status in the guest panel of NextGen Virtual Visits™.
