Display Assessment Fields on Assessment and Reassessment Billing

Process Patient Billing Against Locked Encounters

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window appears with the system-related templates. Select the Practice tab and then select All. A list of all the practice templates appears. Select BH - Configuration, and then select OK. The BH - Configuration template opens. Select the Allow billing code submission without document checkbox. Additional BH Configuration

You can use the BH - Configuration practice template to set up the following options in NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite: ASAM Enables the ASAM template for your practice. Allow patient procedure activity against locked encounters Enables billing activity to occur without having to unlock encounters. Enable CCBHC requirements Displays additional fields for CCBHC content for practices required to adhere to reporting standards. Allow billing code submission without document Enables code submission on the Charges panel without documents present. Assessment/Reassessment Billing Enables you to show/hide fields on the Assessment/Diagnosis panel on the Assessment/Reassessment Billing template. ASAM panel Process Patient Billing Against Locked Encounters You can configure the practice for billing activity without unlocking the encounter. Required Fields Configuration

Open the BH Foundation Configuration template, and then expand the Required Fields Configuration panel. Required Fields Configuration panel For the required template, select the checkbox next to the field to make it required. Select Save.
