template, and then expand the
Required Fields Configuration
panel.
For the required template, select the checkbox next to the field to make it required.

Save
.
Note:
If the selected template is already open, you must close the template and re-open it to see the changes.

Copy a Configuration for the BH Foundation Configuration Template
You can copy the configuration of BH Configuration panels to another program, practice, or location on the BH Foundation Configuration template. Open the BH Foundation Configuration template. Complete one of the following panels: Tabs & Sub Navigation Packet/Intake Prescreen/Regulatory Items Configuration In the Copy To section, do one of the following: To copy a configuration to another program, select a Program from the list. To copy a configuration to another practice, select a Practice from the list. To copy this configuration to another location, select a Location from the list. CAUTION: When you use the Copy To function, all existing tabs, links, packets, and intake prescreens from the source destination overwrite items in the target destination. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens with the system-related templates. Select All. The list of all the system templates opens. You can configure the content during your initial project implementation with the guidance of your NextGen Healthcare project manager or architect. You must not modify the specific list of tables without consulting your NextGen Healthcare representative. Create a Tool Tip Configuration
You can configure tooltips or informative text windows for a specific field in a table. The fields across the top of the Tool Tips Configuration panel correspond with the data grid below. For example, when you select the field above the Template column, the list of templates appears. Open the BH Foundation Configuration template, and then expand the Tool Tip Configuration panel. Tool Tip Configuration panel Select a template from the picklist. Select a table from the picklist. Note: The picklist displays the list of tables available on the selected template in the Template field. Select a field from the picklist for which you want to add a tooltip. Note: The picklist displays the list of fields available in the selected table. Enter a description in the Tip Header field to display as the tip header. Client-defined Configuration
You can configure buttons to add in the sub-templates that can open a specific template or a document. As a Practice administrator, you can use the BH Client Defined panel on the BH Foundation Configuration template to configure custom buttons. You can insert the configured buttons on the sub-templates using the tis_sub_fields_btn_config option from the New Sub Template picklist on the Sub Template Configuration (BH) template.
