You can configure the content during your initial project implementation with the guidance of your NextGen Healthcare project manager or architect. You must not modify the specific list of tables without consulting your NextGen Healthcare representative. Miscellaneous Configurations for BH Documents

Configuration Name Configuration Details Enable Late Entry Stamp on all documents When selected, each document is stamped with Late Entry that indicates the document is generated after the encounter date. Select the time interval in days, months, or years that must pass before the late entry stamp is applied. The late entry stamp is based on the encounter date in the patient's chart. The setting is enterprise-wide. Enable Late Entry Stamp on signature attestations When selected, each signature attestation document is stamped with Late Entry that indicates the signature attestation document is generated after the encounter date. Configuration Name Configuration Details Default 'Goals Addressed Today' filter to Program on billing notes When selected, the default filter is set to Program for the Goals and Objectives Addressed Today filter. Enable Specialty/Visit Type to be configured by Program When selected, the Specialty and Visit type fields appear on the BH templates in the client’s chart according to the default values set on the BH Content panel. If the specialty or visit type for a client visit is different from the configured values in the BH Content panel, you can select Specialty or Visit Type . Note: The specialty and visit type are updated only once during the initial program selection. Process Patient Billing Against Locked Encounters

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window appears with the system-related templates. Select the Practice tab and then select All. A list of all the practice templates appears. Select BH - Configuration, and then select OK. The BH - Configuration template opens. Select the Allow billing code submission without document checkbox. Configuring BH Foundation Settings

You can use the BH Foundation Configuration system template to configure settings for the NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite templates. The BH Foundation Configuration template is the central location for configuring settings for the Behavioral Health Suite templates. You can configure various elements of your BH content to accommodate your business workflow and requirements. Some items can be configured at the practice level, program level, for specific regulatory boards and in some instances, even for a specific location. Display Assessment Fields on Assessment and Reassessment Billing

You can use the BH - Configuration practice template to set up the following options in NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite:

ASAM: Enables the ASAM template for your practice.

Allow patient procedure activity against locked encounters: Enables billing activity to occur without having to unlock encounters.

Enable CCBHC requirements: Displays additional fields for CCBHC content for practices required to adhere to reporting standards.

Allow billing code submission without document: Enables code submission on the Charges panel without documents present.

Assessment/Reassessment Billing: Enables you to show/hide fields on the Assessment/Diagnosis panel on the Assessment/Reassessment Billing template.
