Message search options enable you to perform searches based on specific parameters.
Because messages have so many distinguishing elements, Mirth® Connect provides numerous filters to help you configure well-targeted searches.
To access these filters, on the page, select a channel, and in the panel, select the View Messages task.
Item | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
A | Start/End Time | Use the Calendar icons to populate these fields with the start/end dates of the desired messages.
|
B | Regex | Searches all textual message content that matches the regular expression pattern given in the Text Search field.
|
C | Page Size | Enter the maximum amount of messages to appear in the Metadata Table at once. The default value is 20, but you can change the default in the Administrator Settings Tab. |
D | Text Search | Enter text (e.g., patient name, IP address) to include message content, metadata, and connector names containing the entered text. When you enter text in this field and select the Search button, the Select an Option window appears, informing you that Text searching may take a long time, depending on the amount of messages being searched, then asks Are you sure you want to proceed? select Yes or No as desired. |
E | Advanced… | Reveals the Advanced Search Filter window consisting of more specific search-filter options.
|
F | Reset | Removes all filters from the previous search and resets all search options to their defaults. |
G | Search | Performs the message search with the currently set search options. |
H | Statuses | Check these boxes to search for messages with RECEIVED, TRANSFORMED, FILTERED, QUEUED, SENT, ERROR and/or PENDING statuses. |
I | Current Search (Filters) | The filters you selected for your search. The Current Search box displays various data relative to the most recent search.
|
J | Count | Performs a COUNT query on the server, and returns how many of the channel's messages match the search criteria. This number may be greater than the total number of messages currently shown in the Metadata Table because of the Page Size option. |
K | Page | (Multi-page lists) Activates when you select the Count button, enter a value (coinciding with the page range) in this field, and select the Go button to display the desired page. |
L | < Prev / Next > | (Multi-page lists) Select the < Prev button to go back one page or the Next > button to advance one page. |
