Archive Settings

IEnable Archiving

Determines whether message / attachment data is saved to disk before being pruned.

  • Select Yes to save message / attachment data to disk prior to being pruned.
  • Select No to perform a prune without saving message / attachment data.
JArchiver Block SizeThe number of messages that will be cached by the archiver. Increase this value to improve performance. Decrease this value to reduce memory usage. This value must be between 1 and 1,000. The recommended value for most servers is 50.
KContent
The type of content that is exported from the messages.
  • Encrypt: Check Encrypt to encrypt the exported message content with the server's encryption key.
  • Include Attachments: Check Include Attachments to include all attachments associated with the message in your exported file. Note that the content type must be set to XML serialized message to perform this action.
LCompression

When compression is enabled, the files/folders created according to the File Pattern are put into a compressed file in the Root Path.

Select one of the following supported compression types:

  • None: This selection will not apply compress to the created files/folders.
  • ZIP
  • tar.gz
  • tar.bz2
MPassword Protect

This option is only available if ZIP compression is selected.

  • Select Yes to protect the resulting ZIP file with the password entered in the Password field. When selected, you can also choose what encryption algorithm to use when password-protecting files. The following algorithms are supported: Standard, AES-128, AES-256.
  • Select No to create an unprotected .ZIP file.
NPasswordEnter the password to be used If password protection is selected in the Password Protect field.
ORoot PathEnter the root path where you store the exported files/folder or compressed file. Relative paths are resolved against the Mirth® Connect Server home directory.
PFile PatternEnter the file/folder pattern where the exported message files are written. Variables from the Variables list can be used in the pattern.
