Set Up the Language Master List

  1. Open File Maintenance.
  2. Select Master Lists.
    The Master Lists List window opens.
  3. In the Master List field, select Language.
  4. To filter the master list items, select or clear any of the following checkboxes:
    • Include Hidden Items to display items in the master list that are hidden.
    • Include EHR Items to display items in the master list that are set up as Show in EHR
    • Include PM Items to display items in the master list that are set up as Show in PM.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To add a language, select Open Menu Open Menu icon , and then select New.
    • To modify an existing language, select the language, select Open Menu Open Menu icon , and then select Open.
    The Add Language Information or Modify Language Information window opens.
  6. Enter the name of the language in the Description.
  7. Select Show in PM checkbox to display the languages in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  8. Clear the Show in EHR checkbox as the preferred language feature does not display in NextGen® Enterprise.
  9. To save changes and close the window, select OK.
  10. Optional: Select a language, and then use the up and down arrows to change the order within a master list.

  11. To close the Master Lists List window, select Close.
