Field	Description
Last	Last Name of the patient.
First	First Name of the patient.
Middle	Middle Initial of the patient.
Birth Date	Birth Date of the patient.
Age	Age of the patient.
Sex	Sex of the patient.
Linked	This option is automatically selected, indicating a person or patient record is linked to the appointment.
Patient Portal	A patient portal enrollment status icon indicates the patient's current NextGen® PxP Portal status. A different icon displays for each status, such as not enrolled, pending, and completed. For more information, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the NextGen® PxP Portal Provider Guide for NextGen Enterprise PM.
Address	Billing Address of the patient.
City, State, Zip	City, State, and Zip code of the patient
County	County where the patient resides.
Country	Country where the patient resides.
Contact Preference	Contact preference of the patient.

Work/Day Phone / Ext / Comments	Day Phone, Extension and Comments **

Daily View

The Daily view displays the appointment schedule for a single resource for a single day. The view displays the appointments that are already scheduled and time slots that are not yet scheduled on the selected day for the selected resource. Use the Next Day and Previous Day buttons on the toolbar to move from day to day. Use the Change Resources button on the toolbar to select a resource. Following are the features of the Daily view: The color displayed to the left of each time slot indicates the assigned category and to the right indicates the assigned location. Note: If there is only one location for the practice, the location column does not appear. Scheduled appointments display the patient's name from the Description field on the Add Appointment or Edit Appointment window and the description for the scheduled Event. An icon corresponding to the Birth Sex selected for the patient on the Modify Patient Information window appears next to the patient’s name. Icons include Male, Female

Viewing Patient's NextGen® PxP Portal Enrollment Status

If the practice is part of NextGen® PxP Portal, you can view the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status on the Patient Information Card (PIC). If the patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send an enrollment invitation email. Note: The patient enrollment status indicator is available only when the NextGen® PxP Portal license is active. Set up Patient Portal Trigger

The Patient Portal action launches windows at run time that enable you to: Set up an account for a patient on the NextGen® PxP Portal website. Schedule the future delivery of a message to a patient enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal. After a message has been scheduled, you can review and edit or delete it, if necessary. NextGen® PxP Portal is a secure Internet portal that enables patients to communicate with providers, request appointments, request prescription refills, review test results, complete online forms, view documents and statements, and access health reference information.
