Modify an Individual Appointment Created from a Group Appointment

You can modify an individual patient appointment that was created when a group appointment was scheduled. Any modifications made to an individual appointment does not update other patient appointments associated with the same group appointment.

  1. Access the Appointment Book.
  2. From the Daily, Weekly List, Weekly Schedule or Multi-View view, select an individual appointment that was scheduled as part of a group appointment.
  3. Select the group appointment.
  4. Select the individual appointment you want to update.
  5. Right-click and then select Open > Appointment.
    The Edit Appointment window opens. The name of the Patient Group displays in brackets at the top of the window.
  6. Modify the appointment as needed.
  7. Select OK.

    If the appointment is part of a recurring series and you changed the Date, Time, Event, Duration, Resources, or Service Location, the appointment is removed from the recurring series.

    If you modified the Date, Time, Event, Duration, Resources, or Service Location field, the Reschedule Reason window opens.

  8. If the Reschedule Reason window opens, select a reason for rescheduling the appointment. This field is required.
  9. Select OK.
