Understanding the Contractual Analysis Report

The Contractual Analysis report is a good tool to regularly audit your contracts and contract exception fee schedules. The columns on the report that enables you to compare the contractual amounts, which are maintained in the Contract Libraries of the application, to the actual amounts, which are paid by the payers, as well as the adjustment amounts that are created when charges and payments are posted. Filtering Options to Customize the Contractual Analysis Report

The Contractual Analysis report has the same flexibility as the other reports in the application. For example, you can select and deselect the columns that you want to display on the report, use the filtering options to set specific parameters for generating the report, and use the sorting options to customize the layout of the report. The Specialty filter tab enables you to analyze contractual data and to filter on specialty to aid in filtering desired data. Parent topic: Contractual Analysis Report

Configuration Options

When you open the report, the Configuration Options panel displays. The Columns configuration opens first by default. You can customize the report by selecting the columns and filters. The report is generated using the current configuration when you click Refresh Report. You can save the configuration options for later use by clicking Save Report. Report Columns and Subcolumns You can select the columns that you want to appear on the cost estimation report. You can also control the subcolumns that must appear when you expand a cost estimate. Filtering Report Data

The Filter options enable you to set your report criteria, such as date ranges and statuses. The settings determine which data appears in the columns of your reports. The filter options that display depend on the filter data applicable to the report. Each filter you use creates a limitation of the data that is 'allowed' to display on the report. If you use parameters from Filter 1 and then use parameters from another filter option, such as Filter 2, only the data that matches the parameters for both Filter 1 and 2 display on the report.
