Autoflow Sequence - Printing Enhanced Forms

The Autoflow sequence allows Enhanced Forms selection during both check-in and checkout setup. Prerequisite: Enhanced Forms have been created in the Forms Enhanced master file in File Maintenance. To include Enhanced Forms during the Autoflow sequence, do the following: When the Autoflow process is being setup for check-in or checkout, you must enter a green check in the Print column for a specific Form Group. This allows all forms within that group to automatically print as part of the autoflow sequence. You can pick which form(s) to be printed by not selecting a specific Form Group (no green check indicated). Create or Modify an AutoFlow Sequence

You must create an AutoFlow Sequences master file for each AutoFlow sequence that the practice uses. AutoFlow sequences enable you to set the sequence for a series of actions that process encounters for patient check-in and check-out. After you create the AutoFlow sequences, you must assign them to each practice location in Practice Preferences or User Preferences. Access File Maintenance. Select System Master Files, then PM, and then AutoFlow Sequences. The AutoFlow Sequences List window opens. Do one of the following: To add a new item, select the open menu button, and then select New. To modify an existing item, select the item in the list, select the Open Menu button, and then select Open. You can also double-click to open the item. Setting Up AutoFlow

To set up the AutoFlow feature: Create AutoFlow Sequence master files in File Maintenance. Assign the AutoFlow sequences created in File Maintenance to specific practice locations on the AutoFlow Sequences tab in Practice Preferences. Note: You can set default user preferences for AutoFlow that override the practice-level settings in Practice Preferences. Autoflow Sequences Master File

You can add the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment workflow to a check-in or check-out AutoFlow Sequence in the AutoFlow Sequences master file in File Maintenance. By adding this workflow, you can ensure that the patient is enrolled to NextGen® PxP Portal during check-in or check-out in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The following NextGen® PxP Portal AutoFlow Sequence items are available for you to select in the AutoFlow Sequences master file.
