Print Enhanced Forms

Wherever you can print Forms in NextGen® Enterprise PM, you can select to print Forms Enhanced. The Print Forms window includes separate tabs for each type of form. Note: The below procedure is also used to print Fee Tickets or Patient Data Sheets that are setup as Enhanced Forms in File Maintenance. This procedure replaces the legacy Print > Fee Tickets or Print > Patient Data Sheets menu options that are used to print the "standard" version of these forms. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Print > Forms option from a right-click menu. The Print Forms window appears. Select the Forms Enhanced tab. The Form Group field defaults to (All Forms). This allows you to select and print forms from any group. Select a specific Form Group to select and print forms from that group only. In the Forms section, select the form(s) to be printed. All forms are selected by default. Select the Sort button to modify the sort for a specific form, if needed. The sort is used only when the form is print

Create New Enhanced Form

Form Groups enable you to categorize forms for organizational and printing purposes. You must create at least one Form Group before you can save an Enhanced Form. After a form group has been created, you can also edit, copy, hide, delete and unhide form groups. Open File Maintenance. Select Edit Form Group from the Forms Enhanced menu. Select New. Enter a name for the group. Select OK. Note: If All Forms is selected in the Form Group field, you are not able to modify the practice list displayed. However, if a specific Form Group is selected, you can grant Practice Access to the form as needed. Parent topic: Forms Enhanced

Forms Enhanced

Forms Enhanced allows you to create more advanced forms than those created in the legacy Forms master file. With Forms Enhanced, you can create forms for electronic signatures, patient correspondences for documentation purposes and more customized options for alternate fee tickets and patient data sheets. Forms Enhanced also allows you to create form groups, allowing you to print multiple pages of a form and multiple forms at once. To create an Enhanced Form, you must first create at least one Form Group. For more information on how to create a Form Group and Enhanced Forms, see Create New Enhanced Form. Field Description Form Group Lists of new forms created and saved into groups; the groups can be used to categorize forms (for example, Consent Forms) or group them together form printing purposes (for example, New Patient Registration Forms). Create or Modify an AutoFlow Sequence

You must create an AutoFlow Sequences master file for each AutoFlow sequence that the practice uses. AutoFlow sequences enable you to set the sequence for a series of actions that process encounters for patient check-in and check-out. After you create the AutoFlow sequences, you must assign them to each practice location in Practice Preferences or User Preferences. Access File Maintenance. Select System Master Files, then PM, and then AutoFlow Sequences. The AutoFlow Sequences List window opens. Do one of the following: To add a new item, select the open menu button, and then select New. To modify an existing item, select the item in the list, select the Open Menu button, and then select Open. You can also double-click to open the item. The Autoflow Sequence Information window opens and displays the items that are included in the sequence. Setting Up AutoFlow

To set up the AutoFlow feature: Create AutoFlow Sequence master files in File Maintenance. Assign the AutoFlow sequences created in File Maintenance to specific practice locations on the AutoFlow Sequences tab in Practice Preferences. Note: You can set default user preferences for AutoFlow that override the practice-level settings in Practice Preferences. Autoflow Sequences Master File

You can add the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment workflow to a check-in or check-out AutoFlow Sequence in the AutoFlow Sequences master file in File Maintenance. By adding this workflow, you can ensure that the patient is enrolled to NextGen® PxP Portal during check-in or check-out in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The following NextGen® PxP Portal AutoFlow Sequence items are available for you to select in the AutoFlow Sequences master file.
